ACTIVITIES
Seminars
It has the function of bringing together small groups for recurring meetings, focusing each time on some particular subject, in which everyone present is requested to actively participate. This is often accomplished through an ongoing Socratic dialogue with a seminar leader or instructor, or through a more formal presentation of research.
Our first Seminar ever was happened on 8th-11th October 2015 in Bilbao, Spain. The title of EDSU Seminar 2015 is "Breaking the Higher Education-Wall".
Workshops / Lectures
We also give some presentations, lectures and workshops in different levels relating to important issues which have an impact of deaf student's life in Europe. Organised by ourselves and/or invited by organisations.
If you’re interested that we give a presentation or a workshop, simply contact us by mail, edsu.edsu@gmail.com
EDSU's projects can be further defined as temporary rather than permanent social systems or work systems that are constituted by teams within or across organizations to accomplish particular tasks under time constraints.
Handbook for Deaf Students in Europe
Written by two of our former presidents (Sofiya Kalinova & Timothy Rowies), it will focus on the legal issues that deaf students often face today such as inadequate quality support and their rights in various European and International documents as well as the national legalisations. It shall be of interest for funding authorities, higher education institutions and campaigners for accessibility in education and, of course, Deaf students themselves.

This handbook is from 2017.
Deaf Student Mobility in Europe
